How possible is it to own a golf shop in a small town? Can I depend on that after college? What kind of things to I need to do to make sure it stays running?

Anything is possible if you put your mind to it . Friendly service , take trades , know your profits , reasonable hours, build clubs , Might be good to start out of a cheap shop . ( Basement ) Understand that
it is a seasonal business and plan operating expenses before you
start. Build your bank account first.
